- Charl van den Berg hails from the City of Bloemfontein (although I have to say I was only born there!). After working as a restaurant manager at one of Cape Town's leading gay-friendly restaurants he went on to win the Mr Gay South Africa 2009 Competition and Mr Gay World 2010 competition three months later, becoming the first South African Male to win a global competition of this prestigious nature. After handing over his title to yet ANOTHER SA man, he is still actively involved in the LGBTI community.

It is really sad to see that a ruler of a country with so much culture and rich civilization talking the way that he belongs to nowhere and thats how others see the Image of my country, anyway, i wish one day and I am sure everything is gone change and sun will shine on that land as always did.
